Sail Loot Podcast 000: An Introduction To The Sail Loot Podcast and What We Hope To Achieve

By on October 2, 2014

Our first podcast episode!

This first Sail Loot podcast episode will give a quick introduction to who we are and what we hope to achieve with the podcast. Hopefully we’ll be able to entertain everybody a little bit while hearing about some great stories of the sea, travel, and adventure.

You can listen to the podcast right here from the Sail Loot website or you can download the podcast and listen to it from the mp3 player of your choice whenever you want! I will also be submitting the podcast feed to iTunes, Stitcher, and Blackberry (really!) so you can subscribe and listen to it there as well. You can also listen to it with your Podcasts App.

Sometimes, it takes a little while to get the podcast feed accepted in all of the podcast feed directories. If, for some reason, you see the show and show notes here at the Sail Loot website but don’t see it available in iTunes yet, then just wait a little while and it should show up. If you notice that it has been a couple of days and it still isn’t showing up in iTunes, then please let me know!

In this episode I introduce myself and go over my sailing credentials. I also share what the intent of the Sail Loot Podcast is. I go over the formalities of the show and what you can expect in future episodes.

I state that I will record all of the other regular blog posts so that you can listen to them instead of having to read them. I will get to that so that you have audio access to the posts that are already out there, but I wanted to get this introduction and an interview out first. So, stay tuned!

Special information from each episode, such as what was covered and some helpful links will usually appear below in the show notes.

  • Sail Loot Podcast 001 – Wait for it…At the end of this episode I explain who our first interview is with and that it will be available very soon. It should be published on the Sail Loot website about 30 minutes after this one!

About Teddy

I am a 37 year old that just wants to find a way to make a remote income, gather some Sail Loot and cruise the world! I have been sailing for a couple of years now, but mostly on 10 day trips as vacationing crew. I just recently took sailing to the next level by completing my Basic Keelboat, Basic Cruising, and Bareboat Cruising Certifications! I am also Vice President of a Medical Consulting Company, have a Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, and have taken several Coding, Computing, and Online Business courses. It's time to share what I have learned!
